Byadagi chilli, mainly grown in the Byadagi district of Karnataka, accorded GI tag of Karnataka in 2011. Physical traits of chillies are very long in length, Without pungency or less pungency, dark red coloured skin. Oleoresins extracted from this variety of chilli is used to produce nail polish and lipsticks.
